EFT Can Affect Beliefs and Identity

Although
EFT is generally said to be useful for transforming
emotions (which then often improve physical
conditions) there are two other incredibly valuable
aspects to EFT: It can bring about changes in
beliefs and
identity,
resulting in tremendous improvements in quality of
life experience.
Although
EFT is generally said to be useful for transforming
emotions (which then often improve physical
conditions) there is another incredibly valuable
aspect to EFT. It brings about changes in beliefs. I
have had clients go from believing they were destined
to one kind of (undesirable) future to being filled
with enthusiasm and excitement about what lies before
them simply because they changed their beliefs. And
you know what? They act and attract from a new place
due to the shift in their beliefs so their
future
is altered
and improved, and conditions
are better.
One client believed he was headed for a divorce because he had kept some financial information from his spouse and was in a situation where she was about to know the truth. He was really preparing himself for the split. But after his EFT session he believed—no, even better, he knew that, although he had betrayed his wife things would go well when he told her what had happened. And they did. If he had still felt and believed he was headed for a divorce when they had the conversation it would have been a very different conversation and a divorce would have been much more likely to have been discussed.
An interesting thing that often accompanies belief change is a change in identity—a sense of who we are. When we have made a positive change at the level of identity our world appears quite different and often positive consequences result. Many people would refer to this as a change in "vibration" and I think that is literally true in that various feelings "vibrate" at different levels. The more positive vibrations/levels of feeling and thought give us access to creative ideas and possibilities that are non-existant at lower frequencies. A positive shift in identity accelerates the movement upward into a higher vibration and improves beliefs, behaviors, and results.
