About Kay Christopher
ACEP Certified EFT Practitioner
Kay Christopher has been a professional in the healing arts and an expert in stress management for over 25 years. She has been practicing Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) and leading EFT workshops full time since 2006.
Kay is one of only a handful of practitioners in the world to be certified by Tina Craig through the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology (ACEP). Kay is a member of Gary Craig's Official EFT Tapping Community.
In addition, Kay has also been certified by EFT Universe as an EFT Expert Practitioner-2.
And by the Association for the Advancement of Meridian Energy Techniques International as an Accredited Certified EFT Master Trainer.
As a nondenominational Pastoral Counselor with the Association for the Integration of the Whole Person (AIWP), the focus of Kay's work is inner peace. Having spent her lifetime actively pursuing spiritual development from a variety of perspectives, she understands that Spirit is the healer and believes it is valuable to apply techniques (such as EFT) to help remove impediments to healing.
Kay was a transpersonal psychotherapist in private practice for twelve years with an expertise in the synthesis of Western psychotherapy and various religious/philosophical healing traditions of the world. Her clients came with a wide range of problems ranging from relationship and career issues to grief, depression, and addictions. Taking a holistic/spiritual approach and using the technique she developed, Intuitive Guidework™, she was able to help clients resolve a wide variety of concerns.
Kay then became a keynote speaker, trainer, performance coach and business consultant with an expertise in reducing stress, managing change, and improving personal productivity. For ten years she brought holistic concepts to large audiences and organizations, helping bring about positive organizational change. She also worked with business owners and leaders in developing their businesses and improving their bottom line. In addition, for seven years Kay produced and hosted a television show, interviewing those on the leading edge of health and social change. Her guests included Deepak Chopra, Jean Houston, and Nobel Laureate Illya Prigogine who's theory of dissipative structures helps explain transformation in individual human, organizational, and social systems. Kay's work has been featured in national publications as she has continually been on the cutting edge of her field.
Since discovering EFT in 2006 Kay has had a strong focus on working with individual clients as well as educating psychotherapists, medical doctors, massage therapists and many other healing practitioners about the power of this very simple yet extremely powerful method for stress management, emotional healing and achieving peak performance. She is continually furthering her education in EFT. She has provided thousands of EFT sessions for clients and provides ongoing EFT workshops, presentations and classes. She maintains a private practice seeing clients at her office in Austin, Texas, and works with clients across the globe by telephone and Skype.
